Description of problem:
Jwhois is unusable with IPv4 only connections on Fedora 8:

[root@tux ~]# whois 81.91.170.12
[Querying whois.ripe.net]
[Unable to connect to remote host]
[root@tux ~]#

Strace proving my statement is attached.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
jwhois-4.0-3.fc8

How reproducible:
Everytime, see above.

Actual results:
A fix was built (jwhois-4.0-4) but not pushed, yet.

Expected results:
Pushing jwhois-4.0-4 or above as soon as possible to stable.

Fscking mirror lag. There is already an update in stable, but not all mirrors
got that, yet.
