Hi Orion, please attach here the contents of the /proc/cpuinfo file. Thanks!

Orion, did you got those messages with 2.6.18-53.1.4.el5 or 2.6.18-8.1.15.el5? please also attach lspci and dmesg output. Thanks

I bet I know what was causing this - I had only one DIMM connected to CPU2 (MC1). I've just put in a second DIMM, we'll see if the error repeats.
Orion, please also get the output of find /sys/devices/system/edac/ before and after adding the second DIMM. I'm investigating this issue right now.
Created attachment 294588 [details] find /sys/devices/system/edac/ with second dimm
Orion, I'm still waiting for the find output without the second DIMM. Did you had the same problem after you installed the second DIMM?
I do not have the problem after adding the second DIMM. I'm afraid it might be a while before I can pull the dimm again.
OK, I'll keep this in NEEDINFO until you do it
