Description Jay Estabrook 2007-12-31 17:48:42 EST
Description of problem:

On Alpha, the code to add the "initrd=xxx" clause to the aboot.conf file
kernel boot command line is bad, leading to no clause being added when
one is required.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

booty-0.91-1.fc8

How reproducible:

Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. do an install of F8 to Alpha
2. examine the resultant /etc/aboot.conf file
3.

Actual results:

aboot.conf lines without an "initrd=xxx" clause

Expected results:

aboot.conf file lines with an "initrd=xxx" clause

Additional info:

A patch is attached that fixes the problem.
