Description Davidson Paulo 2008-01-02 08:04:10 EST
Description of problem:

When using pt-br VNC keymap (br-abnt2 on Fedora) the / (slash) key doesn't work
with VNC when viewing Xen, Qemu and KVM guests, but with Xen console only.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Install a guest with virt-manager using any platform (Xen, Qemu or KVM),
selecting br-abnt2 keymap during install (you need to use br-abnt2 keyboard, of
course).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install a guest with virt-manager;
2. Select br-abnt2 keymap during install;
3. Press '/' key.

Actual results:

Pressing '/' key has no effect when using VNC to view a guest.

Expected results:

The same seen when pressing '/' on the host.

Additional info:

There is no mapping to br-abnt2 -> pt-br in keytable.py yet. The following line
need to be added in /usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/keytable.py:

'br-abnt2':'pt-br',

This was fixed upstream a while ago:

http://hg.et.redhat.com/virt/applications/virt-manager--devel?cs=4983533b800c

And is in virt-manager 0.5.3 in f8. Closing this bug as CURRENTRELEASE.
