Description Jeff Bastian 2008-01-04 16:31:56 EST
Description of problem:
Nautilus sometimes opens files twice when double clicked in List View. See
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=427580

According to upstream, in order to fix this, gtk+ needs a new signal
"end-interactive-search". See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=492884

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gtk2-2.10.4-19.el5

How reproducible:
Fairly often

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fire up Nautilus
2. Switch to List view
3. Go to /usr/share/backgrounds/images
4. Double click on a picture to open it with eog
5. Double click on the same picture a few more times

Actual results:
On the 2nd or 3rd double click, it will open 2 new eog windows

Expected results:
Only 1 eog window should open

Comment 1 Jeff Bastian 2008-04-28 18:44:56 EDT
This is not necessary after all. A patch to fix bug 427580 is available
upstream thus this new signal is not needed to fix the bug.
