Description of problem:
Today's download of updates takes very long time and when it arrives the Package
Updater window never gets beyond the initial gray screen -- i.e., updates never
appear in window and update hangs there.
I saw this with an earlier update download also, it was fixed.

Is this reproducible?  What version of hte pirut package do you have installed?

Latest downloaded update of Pirut.
Today same update worked OK.  Must have been net or comm problem yesterday.
