Description Jack Neely 2008-02-06 22:13:20 UTC
Description of problem:
With RHEL 5 and 5.1's anaconda the task selection screen has a strange behavior
when I have added additional repos/installclasses.

I can chose the Desktop Gnome task (see attachements) procede to the customize
now screen and much of the graphical environment is not selected to be
installed. Like the X Window System, Graphics, Productivity, Graphical
Internet, Sound and Video, etc. When I click back and go to the task screen the
Desktop Gnome task is un-checked.

Un-checking my additional repositories does not alter the behavior. In fact, I
can still chose my additional categories.

What leads me to believe this is a bug in Anaconda rather than my install
classes is a patch the CentOS folks have been using in 5.0 and 5.1 which fixes
this. A comment reads "Quick hack to handle overlapping groups in tasks for an
installclass."

So, I'm going to attache my installclasses, this patch and see how you guys yell
at me.

Thank you for the patches. However, I'm currently trying to move us away from this interface for future releases so I'm not sure they will be useful in the future.
