Description of problem:
quirks needed to cause acer aspire 3002CLi to successfully suspend & resume. 
They are available in the acer fdi here:

However, the 5.2 version of hal does not support 'contains_outof', so the file
listed would need to be modified to have tho Toshiba Tecra 3000 piece out on its
own in a 'contains', instead.

Unfortunately, these quirks have stopped working as of upgrading to the beta
candidate for RHEL5.2. I believe that this means a kernel bug?

This bug/component is not included in scope for RHEL-5.11.0 which is the last RHEL5 minor release. This Bugzilla will soon be CLOSED as WONTFIX (at the end of RHEL5.11 development phase (Apr 22, 2014)).
