Installation goes smoothly when using Fedora Core 6 or Fedora 7 DVDs.
Are there any obvious error messages displayed on tty3 or tty4?

It seems that after another 10 minutes the installation screen appeared. I modified the bug to "NOTABUG". Installation is not really stuck, but very very slow. Sorry for the inconvienience.
