Description of problem:
Running oowriter on a .doc file I get the error message quoted below a dozen or
so times:

  (soffice:21507): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_path_is_absolute: assertion `file_name !=
NULL' failed

openoffice.org-writer-2.4.0-10.1.fc9.i386

Not specific to OOo, happens with evince as well. Spew from the gtk print dialog.

Already fixed upstream, will get the fix into rawhide soon.
