Description of problem:
file /usr/share/locale/zh_TW/LC_MESSAGES/gtk20-properties.mo from install of
gtk2-2.12.8-3.fc9.i386 conflicts with file from package gtk2-2.12.9-1.fc9.x86_64


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gtk2-2.12.8-3.fc9.*

just should silently install

The problem here (most likely) isn't gtk2, it's the mismatched versions that 
are to blame:
gtk2-2.12.8-3.fc9.i386
gtk2-2.12.9-1.fc9.x86_64
, ie 2.12.8-3.fc9 != 2.12.9-1.fc9 , these *should* match.

Either yum is confused or the repo(s) you're installing from are.
