Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 438921
No way to 'Save Session' when manual saves are enabled
Last modified: 2008-04-09 13:29:54 EDT
Description of problem:
Changing from 'Restore previous session' to 'Restore manually saved session'
exposes no method to actually save your session. In 3.5, enabling manual saves
adds a new entry to the Kmenu to save it (between lock and switch user).
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. choose System Settings > Advanced > Sesssion Manager > On Login > Restore
manually saved session
2. Try to find a way to "Save Session" as in kde3.5
No 'Save Session' option
when manual saves are enabled, the 'Save Session' option needs to be visible in
the "Leave > Session" menu.
that's an upstream bug, please report to bugs.kde.org.
fwiw, I'm annoyed by this too, if you don't, I'll send it upstream myself
