Description petrosyan 2008-03-26 17:10:12 UTC
Description of problem:
In Fedora 8 anaconda used to set the keyboard to 'us+inet' and 'inet' would
define the extra multimedia keys (volume up, volume down, mute, etc.).
Currently in Fedora rawhide xorg.conf does not have any keyboard section, and I
think it defaults to simply 'us', which breaks all the multimedia keys.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora rawhide

Yes, we know. Keyboards are broken in several different ways right now. :-/

Comment 2 Jeremy Katz 2008-03-26 17:57:50 UTC
Actually, the simplest thing to do to get the default to be us+inet is to change
the defaults in the keyboard driver.

Comment 3 Jeremy Katz 2008-03-26 19:03:12 UTC
And ajax did this earlier
