Description of problem: using driver i810 does not allow X to start Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): xorg-x11-drv-i810-2.2.1-15.fc9.i386 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade to F9 Beta from F8 having a working F8 xorg.conf that used i810 driver 2. startx 3. Actual results: X server fails to start (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//i810_drv.so (EE) LoadModule: Module i810 does not have a i810ModuleData data object. (II) UnloadModule: "i810" (II) Unloading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//i810_drv.so (EE) Failed to load module "i810" (invalid module, 0) Expected results: x server works Additional info: xorg-x11-server-common-1.4.99.901-10.20080314.fc9.i386 xorg-x11-server-utils-7.3-3.fc9.i386 xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.4.99.901-10.20080314.fc9.i386 See attached xorg.conf and log files Also i have tried this with unloading the i915 and drm modules and loading drm and i810, and running 915resolution to set the mode correctly as it worked in F8.
