Comment 1 Rex Dieter 2008-03-26 21:01:52 UTC
kdebase-workspace-4.0.2-7 fixed it for me.

* Wed Mar 12 2008 Than Ngo <than> 4.0.2-7
- apply upstream patch to fix changing wallpaper causes desktop to go white
- apply upstream patch to check whether the to-be-embedded window has been
destroyed, (bz#437058)

Does this update not work for you?

Comment 2 Than Ngo 2008-03-27 15:22:03 UTC
