Günther, can you look into this ?
Don't you have libtdb installed ?
Yes : libtdb-1.1.1-8.fc9.i386
Ok, what does ldd /usr/sbin/smbd | grep tdb return ?
Ok here is the problem: libtdb.so.0 => /opt/samba4/lib/libtdb.so.0 (0xb785e000) Samba4 was a test I had installed and uninstalled a week ago before the last update of samba from rawhide. I don't know why this link was left behind (shouldn't newest version of samba from rawhide overwrite it?) Thanks for the support, please close the bug.
