Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect Sidewinder gamepad
2. modprobe sidewinder
3. dmesg
  
Actual results:
sidewinder.c: unknown joystick device detected on pci0000:01:08.1/gameport0,
contact <vojtech>
sidewinder.c: ID packet, 48 bits. [fbffffffffff]
sidewinder.c: Data packet, 16 bits. [bfff]

Expected results:
Sidewinder gamepad detected, and registered with joystick driver.

Additional info:
/usr/share/doc/kernel-doc-2.6.23/Documentation/input/joystick.txt lists this
hardware as a supported device.

Appears to be corrected in Fedora 9.
