Feature request:
Using XMLsec offline can lead to a problem if you want to validate against a XML
Schema which references e.g. a XML encryption type. Wouldn't it be a good idea
to include http://www.w3.org/TR/2002/REC-xmlenc-core-20021210/xenc-schema.xsd
and http://www.w3.org/TR/2002/REC-xmldsig-core-20020212/xmldsig-core-schema.xsd
in the RPM package and make it available via xmlcatalog?

Or is this considered a bad idea and should be done by every package maintainer
which depends on XMLsec?

The problem is that when we package xmlsec1 it's better to have the
package export data only from the release tarball. But the XSd files
are not part of it.
Like for xhtml1-dtds , it's probably better to package separately
the schemas, independantly of the toolchain which may be used to
process them.
So it's probably a better idea to push in Fedora a xmldsig-schemas
package with those resources. Reclassifying the current bug as NOTABUG
as I don't think this should be done as part of xmlsec1,
