Have you actually verified that Win2k8 works under RHEL-5.2 Xen ? All previous attempts to run it failed at one point or another.

Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release.

FYI, easy way to test this: virt-install --connect test:///default -n somevm -r 256 --nodisks --hvm --pxe --nographics --os-type windows --os-variant win2k8 Pre patch this will fail with a ValueError exception. Post patch will end with a message like 'Domain installation still in progress'.
Okay, fix is in python-virtinst-0.300.2-9.el5. Setting to MODIFIED.
