Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 443299
Xorg crashes when quitting many applications
Last modified: 2008-04-27 20:01:36 EDT
Description of problem:
When quitting F-Spot, Xorg crashes.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open F-Spot
2. Close F-Spot
Xorg log attached
Created attachment 303051 [details]
Same happens here, but with the radeon driver. Therefore, this bug seems to be
in the wrong component. I guess, xorg-x11-server is more appropriate as the
crash has something to do with libglx.so :
rpm -qf /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so
Im just building a new xserver in koji now
it'll be in the 25.<date> directory there when it finished.
Please re-test and let me know if it helps.
Thanks Dave, the 18.104.22.1681 fixes that problem (at least for me). It also
prevents other applications, like virt-manager from crashing X on close. Should
therefore maybe renamed and sent upstream.
Martin, can you confirm that this is fixed with 22.214.171.1241 the problem is fixed?
Sorry for the delay. Yes, the issue has been fixed.
