Can we get a /etc/rc.local.d/ created?  Appending

/usr/bin/run-parts /etc/rc.local.d/

Would enable it.  Pretty simple and useful enhancement.

Not in RHEL5, in general. This can be accomplished by simply writing various
runlevel scripts.

Perhaps in the future there will be a rcS.d, or an equivalent.
