Description of problem: The following has been done by just running yum: # rpm -qa --qf="%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}.%{ARCH}\n" |grep bzip bzip2-1.0.4-12.fc8.x86_64 bzip2-devel-1.0.4-13.fc8.x86_64 bzip2-libs-1.0.4-13.fc8.x86_64 bzip2-libs-1.0.4-13.fc8.i386 Should not be possible. Expected results: Same versions.
This (almost) certainly isn't bzip2's fault. Possibly causes include: yum bug, or an aborted yum transaction, or gremlins. Running $ package-cleanup --problems will help identify other issues like this.
