Description Thomas Müller 2008-05-02 02:56:22 EDT
Description of problem:
When you use yum to install/update/... yum asks you if you want to proceed:
"Is this ok [y/N]:"

When LANG=en_US.UTF-8 I can enter "n" to cancel the operation.
When LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 yum seems to treat "n" or "N" as incorrect input.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
yum-3.2.14-10.fc9.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
LANG=de_DE.UTF-8; yum install ltrace

Actual results:
Last lines of output from yum with LANG=de_DE.UTF-8:
Gesamte Downloadgröße: 59 k
Ist dies richtig? [j/N] :n
Ist dies richtig? [j/N] :N
Ist dies richtig? [j/N] :
Beende auf Benutzer-Befehl hin
Komplett!

Expected results:
Last lines of output from yum with LANG=en_US.UTF-8:
Total download size: 59 k
Is this ok [y/N]: n
Exiting on user Command
Complete!

_('n') is reporting as 'nj' in the german translation. in 3.2.14-10. It's been
fixed in upstream.

As a note inputting 'nein' works fine.
