Description Joe Orton 2008-05-09 11:02:40 UTC
Description of problem:
I'm getting this logged at shutdown with mod_nss installed:

[Fri May 09 12:08:57 2008] [error] NSS_Shutdown failed
[Fri May 09 12:08:57 2008] [error] SSL Library Error: -8038
SEC_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED

(a simple service start/stop to reproduced; default config, vanilla raw hide
install)

httpd-2.2.8-3.i386
nss-3.11.99.5-2.fc9.i386
mod_nss-1.0.7-3.fc9.i386

Comment 1 Rob Crittenden 2008-05-09 13:26:49 UTC
This should be fixed in mod_nss-1.0.7-5.fc9.

The NSS library was changed to disallow fork() after initializing the NSS database.

Comment 2 Bug Zapper 2008-05-14 10:54:32 UTC
Changing version to '9' as part of upcoming Fedora 9 GA.
