Description of problem: it's the very same bug mentioned here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=433728 which was supposed to be fixed in 2.6.24 series (and actually it was!) Additional info: here are kernel version i tried recently: kernel-2.6.23.15-137.fc8 OK kernel-2.6.24.5-85.fc8 OK kernel-2.6.25-0.73.rc3.git1.fc9 OK kernel-2.6.25-14.fc9 NOT OK ("No GLXFBConfig" and "Could not initialize the DRM memory manager" errors -- details in #433728)
