Description of problem:
There is no way to temporarily disable a filter short of deleting it.
It would be very useful to be able to selectively disable filters if needed.

Thanks for reporting this. The upstream version contains patch which was
committed to development version, thus this will be included in the 2.24 stable
version. For more information see the upstream bug.
