Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 447957
Can't install package for another arch from gpk-application
Last modified: 2008-10-14 09:00:09 EDT
Description of problem:
If I have somepack.x86_64.rpm installed, I can't install somepack.i386.rpm -
gpk-application says it is already installed. I can only download and install it
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
Right, there's some arch problems with PackageKit - I can't test this right now
as I have no 64 bit machines, but I'm ordering one today.

I think I've fixed this in git master, commit
I'll build rpms for F9 soon.
Richard, is this still valid?
I'm not sure. I still don't have any 64 bit machines :-(.
I've fixed this upstream, I'll try to backport the fix.

Can you try the packages here please. Thanks.
for me it's already working with PackageKit-0.2.4-4.fc9.x86_64. What do we have to test on PackageKit-0.2.4-7.fc9 from koji?
