Description Brian Jedsen 2008-05-28 15:06:40 UTC
Description of problem:
The SELinux policy concerning HAL prevents the macbook backlight's brightness
controls from working.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora 9 on a macbook
2. Try to use the backlight controls
3. Restart haldaemon and see the selinux denials

Actual results:
Backlight controls do not work

Expected results:
Backlight controls should work with HAL's fdi policy.

Additional info:
I was able to add some selinux policies to get the backlight working (see
attached local.te file).
