Description Tim Waugh 2008-05-29 03:51:35 EDT
Description of problem:
When there is a problem resolving dependencies, as in current rawhide, the
'update system' application lies about whether the packages were installed
correctly.

This may have security implications: there are still outstanding updates, but
they have not been applied although the user has been told they have been.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-packagekit-0.2.2-1.20080519.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:
Whenever dependencies are broken.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.System->Administration->Update System
2.Click Update System
3.Get dependency resolution failure dialog
4.Click Close

Actual results:
"System Update Completed
All selected updates have been successfully installed"

Expected results:
Not that!

Yep, I've already fixed this in git master. I'll push another snapshot today.
Thanks.
