Description of problem:
modprobe does not ignore dot files and directories inside the "modprobe.d"
directory.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.3.0

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a file or directory in /etc/modprobe.d that starts with a dot (.). 
Example: .svn/
2. Run "depmod -a 2>&1 | less"
3. watch the errors

Errors

Expected results:
no errors

This has been fixed upstream.
