RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Reassigning to our opencryptoki maintainer, Rajiv.

Comment 2 IBM Bug Proxy 2009-04-08 20:50:44 UTC
------- Comment From wortman.com 2009-04-08 16:41 EDT-------
We will not have the HW required in time for RHEL6, therefore we are quiting this request. We will open new ones for a future release

Comment 4 IBM Bug Proxy 2009-10-23 17:50:57 UTC
------- Comment From wortman.com 2009-10-23 13:47 EDT-------
Red Hat please update opencryptoki to version 2.3:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencryptoki/files/opencryptoki/2.3.0/opencryptoki-2.3.0.tar.gz/download

The 2.3 version have some advantages compared to the 2.2.8 version:

* It contains support for libica 2.0
* It has support for 4096 bit keys

Since in RHEL 6, libica 2.0.2 will be provided, it would make sense to provide
also opencryptoki 2.3

Comment 5 Suzanne Logcher 2009-10-30 22:04:45 UTC
This bug is in MODIFIED status since opencryptoki-2.2.8-5.el6 has been included in RHEL 6.0 as per comment 3.

Since comment 4 is a new request, we ask that IBM create a new bug requesting opencryptoki-2.3.

Comment 6 releng-rhel@redhat.com 2009-10-30 22:13:06 UTC
Fixed in 'opencryptoki-2.2.8-5.el6', included in compose 'RHEL6.0-20091029.0'.
Moving to ON_QA.

Comment 7 John Jarvis 2009-11-02 13:13:39 UTC
IBM is signed up to test and provide feedback.
