Description Kazunori Asayama 2008-09-25 16:41:04 UTC
Description of problem:

Border characters in the installer's text mode user interface are incorrect if installation method is specified directly as installer's option (i.e. method=***). Otherwise (e.g. when 'askmethod' installer option is passed), user interface is displayed correctly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

anaconda-11.4.1.40-1

How reproducible:

Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start installer in text mode with 'method=nfs:***', 'method=http:***' or 'method=ftp:***'.
2. Go to the stage2 'Would you like to use VNC?' page.
3. Select 'Use text mode'.

Actual results:

Broken interface is displayed.

Expected results:

Get correct interface.

Additional info:

I'm not sure this occurs with 'method=hd' or 'method=cdrom'.

I'll be happy to review any patches on this, but it's very unlikely this is going to get looked at any time soon.
