Description Alexander Todorov 2008-10-03 11:19:13 UTC
Description of problem:
Install errors for openmpi packages

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
openmpi-1.2.7-2.el5
openmpi-libs-1.2.7-2.el5
openmpi-devel-1.2.7-2.el5

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. @everything install
2.
3.

Actual results:
Installing openmpi-libs-1.2.7-2.el5.ia64
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.95656: line 14: rpm: command not found
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.95656: line 41: [: !=: unary operator expected

Expected results:
No errors

Additional info:
All of the above 3 packages are installed before the rpm package but they use rpm in %post scripts.

In addition postinstall script for the openmpi-libs package has:
  if [ $OLD_VERSION != 1.2.7 ]; then

which causes the message:
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.95656: line 41: [: !=: unary operator expected
