PATCH: iscsi root (iscsistart) needs crc32c module

Description of problem:
When trying to get installation on an iscsi root to work with rawhide, the system would not boot, iscsistart gave an error that the crc32c module was neither builtin nor available as a module.

The attached patch fixes this, with this patch a rawhide mkinitrd generated initrd successfully finds and mounts the iscsi root.

Question: I noticed that / is marked as _netdev in /etc/fstab, shouldn't that be _rnetdev ?

*sigh* This is the ongoing and never fixed kernel bug that the module requires things which it says it doesn't require. And jcm continues to say he'll fix it for the next cycle and then nothing continues to be done :-/
Comment 2 Hans de Goede 2008-10-27 11:49:15 EDT
This is fixed in 6.0.68-1, which will be in tomorrows rawhide.
