Description of problem:
* Satellite-5.3.0-RHEL5-re20081024.1 / s390x
* synced rhel-i386-server-5, rhn-tools-rhel-i386-server-5, rhel-i386-server-vt-5
* rhel5 client system registered to the satellite server

I'm unable to subscribe the system to any of the available child channels
(check boxes are deactivated in web ui: see attachment).

Re-verified in staged (Satellite-5.3.0-RHEL5-re20090724.0) with pushed package updates from Aug 12

successfully subscribed a RHEL5 system to the parent and child channels listed in the problem description

moving to RELEASE_PENDING
