Last modified: 2008-10-31 13:20:23 EDT
Description of problem:
I can't connect to wep-protected network with any kernels > 2.6.25. I can with 184.108.40.206-108.fc9.x86_64 but not with 220.127.116.11-79.fc9.x86_64. I'll verify with an earlier 2.6.26.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. attempt to connect to wireless network to which you know the WEP key
I'll attach a snapshot of /var/log/messages but if there's anything else I can attach, let me know. This happens on multiple WEP-protected networks. I'm not sure about WPA.
I can confirm that I can successfully connect to WEP-protected networks with
but not with the earliest 2.6.26 kernel on my system:

18.104.22.168-19.fc9 is the version that fixed it for me, FWIW.
