Description Orion Poplawski 2008-11-07 22:00:56 UTC
Description of problem:

clear out mimeTypes.rdf for simplicity.

Open an attachment. Under "Open with", you will only see a single application even though several applications that handle that type may be available.

For example, on my system I have okular, gv, and acroread, but only okular is listed.

Another: gif image. Only option is "GNU Image Manipulation Program" though Dolphin gives several options.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
thunderbird-2.0.0.16-1.fc9.i386

This is clearly not the issue related to the mere packaging of the upstream software (which is what we do here), so please file a bug report in the the upstream bugzilla located at http://bugzilla.mozilla.org in the particular component of the Thunderbird (or Core) product.

Once you've filed your bug report to the upstream bugzilla, if you paste the new bug URL here, Red Hat will continue to track the issue in the centralized upstream bug tracker, and will review any bug fixes that become available for consideration in future updates.

Setting status to NEEDINFO, and awaiting upstream bug report URL for tracking.

Thanks in advance.

Reproduced with upstream and filed upstream.

Comment 3 Matěj Cepl 2008-11-10 23:31:30 UTC
Closing as UPSTREAM.
