Description of problem:
the log file is attached.
It seems to work fine inside my virtual machine. Would you be able to obtain a backtrace? You'll need to run:
$ gdb -p `pidof netspeed_applet2`
Then, once it finishes loading, type c and hit enter to continue. When it crashes, type bt, hit enter and paste the results. Please note that you might need to install some debuginfo packages, gdb should tell you which ones. Also, until Fedora 9 pidof needed to be run as root, so be wary of that in case the command above does not work. Thanks!
Also, it seems like if you install relevant debuginfo packages, bug-buddy should collect the stack trace for you:
I've updated my gnome-panel to the latest on rawhide and the problem doesn't persist anymore.
