Description Orion Poplawski 2008-11-14 12:45:54 EST
Description of problem:

I used to get a grub.conf entry for the Windows partition on a dual boot machine. Not with today's rawhide.
# fdisk -l /dev/sda

Disk /dev/sda: 80.0 GB, 80026361856 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 9729 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x94e494e4

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1   *           1        1156     9285538+   7  HPFS/NTFS

Sorry, this was my bad. Windows partition was present, but not a proper filesystem.
