Description of problem:
The inbox message didn't was deleted after mark "Clean up ("Expunge") Inbox on Exit" in Account Server Settings

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
thunderbird-2.0.0.18-1.el5

How reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to Edit->Account Settings->Server Settings
2.check option "Clean up ("Expunge") Inbox on Exit"
3.click OK
4.restart thunderbird
  
Actual results:
the messages in Inbox folder didn't deleted after thunderbird restart

Expected results:
the messages in Inbox folder deleted after thunderbird restart

Are you sure we are on the same page with what Expunge means? It is not that on the startup whole INBOX content is wiped out (I really wouldn't like any mail client had such functionality), but that all messages which are marked as deleted (which is what Thunderbird does when Edit/Account/*/Server settings/When the message is deleted is switched to "Mark message as deleted") are actually removed from the folder.

PLEASE, before filing ANY bug study very carefully documentation (both Help from the menu as well as available documentation on mozilla.org sites) to understand well what is the supposed behavior of the program.
