Description of problem: /usr/sbin/pluginviewer is unable to load plugins, so it cannot view them. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cyrus-sasl-2.1.22-4 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install cyrus-sasl, cyrus-sasl-lib, and cyrus-sasl-ldap rpms 2. Create the file /etc/sasl2/pluginviewer.conf with the following contents: sasl_auxprop_plugin: ldapdb ldapdb_uri: ldap://127.0.0.1/ 3. Run /usr/sbin/pluginviewer -a Actual results: Installed auxprop mechanisms are: sasldb List of auxprop plugins follows Plugin "sasldb" , API version: 4 supports store: yes Expected results: Installed auxprop mechanisms are: sasldb ldapdb List of auxprop plugins follows Plugin "sasldb" , API version: 4 supports store: yes Plugin "ldapdb" , API version: 4 supports store: yes Additional info: The bug is that the rpm installs the build-static version of the pluginviewer binary, which defeats the purpose. It should instead install the build-shared version of the binary.
