Description Marc Perkel 2008-12-01 13:08:44 EST
In Fedora 8 the following line in inittab worked:

1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty --autologin root tty1

In Fedora 10 it does not. Please fix this without stating any opinions about why root should not auto login.

Thanks in advance.

In F10, init is gone and /etc/inittab is a stub.

Use /etc/event.d/tty[1-7] to tweak mingetty.
