Description of problem: It is not possible to non-interactively kick RHEL5-{Client,Server}-U3-Beta from nfs://bigpapi.bos.redhat.com/vol/engineering/redhat/released/RHEL-5-{Client,Server}/U3-Beta/x86_64/os on a Dell PE1950. It always prompts for network settings. How reproducible: Generate a non-interactive kickstart file and kick RHEL5-{Client,Server}-U3-Beta from it or run `test_lab_machine.py -S rhts.redhat.com -t /distribution/inventory -u jgranado -a x86_64 -m dell-pe1950-01.rhts.bos.redhat.com -r -f RedHatEnterpriseLinuxServer5 -f RedHatEnterpriseLinuxClient5` if you have rhts-scheduler-workflows installed. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Generate a non interactive kickstart 2. Run installation with "ks=path_to_your_ks.cfg ksdevice=link" 3. Watch... Actual results: A prompt to configure networking: +-------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Sending request for IP information for eth0... | | | +-------------------------------------------------------+ +----------------+ Configure TCP/IP +----------------+ | | | [*] Enable IPv4 support | | (*) Dynamic IP configuration (DHCP) | | ( ) Manual configuration | | | | [*] Enable IPv6 support | | (*) Automatic neighbor discovery (RFC 2461) | | ( ) Dynamic IP configuration (DHCP) | | ( ) Manual configuration | | | | +----+ +------+ | | | OK | | Back | | | +----+ +------+ | | | | | +----------------------------------------------------+ Expected results: Successfull installation Additional info: Similar bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=474348
