Description Jay Freeman 2001-07-06 08:23:12 UTC
I upgraded my copy of cvs to the version from 7.1 yesterday, I got a shock
today when I went to add a few files to my repository and got:

cvs add: warning: this CVS does not support PreservePermissions

Apparently the 1.11-3 isn't defining PRESERVE_PERMISSIONS_SUPPORT, which
is required for PreservePermissions=yes to work. I upgraded to the
1.11.1p1-2 version that is in RawHide and that didn't help :(.

PRESERVE_PERMISSIONS is disabled for good reason on recent cvs builds.
