Description Christian Hilty 2009-01-07 18:39:34 UTC
Description of problem:
The reference formatting window in bibus does not allow to specify bold or italic formatting for parts of the reference, such as Year or Title.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
bibus-1.4.3-1.fc10 (x86_64)

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. in bibus, select Styles -> Edit
2. select the tab 'fields ordering'

Actual results:
the window allows to insert and delete fields, but it is not possible to assign bold or italic formatting to a field.

Expected results:
There is a 'Style' box that should contain these options, but the 'Style' box is empty (does not contain any controls).

Additional info:
Bibus does support bold or italic formatting, in fact it is possible to manually change the style file (text format), after which bibus will format the reference correctly. The bug appears to be only in the 'references formatting' window, which does not allow to select this option through the GUI.

This is appears to be fixed in upstream 1.4.3.1, there is an update on the way to updates-testing.

You can download the RPMs manually from koji here:

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/bibus-1.4.3.1-2.fc10

or wait until it gets pushed to updates-testing (this bug should be updated when pushed).

Note that bibus should make a copy of the built-in styles before editing, the built-in style can't be edited directly.
