Description of problem: Microsoft has changed the way that file shares work on 2008 in a failover cluster. Connection to a shared folder on a 2008 cluster without specifying the actual share name will fail. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. in the run dialog (gnome) enter smb://server.domain.com where server.domain.com is a member of a windows 2008 failover cluster 2. 3. Actual results: An error screen is displayed. "could not open location 'smb://server.domain.com' Failed to retrieve share list from server. Expected results: When connecting to a share on a windows 2003 failover cluster, a password prompt is displayed and then a list of all available folders on the server is shown. This message is a reminder that Fedora 10 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 10.
