Was this on the live cd? A fresh install? An upgrade?

Before any changes to icon theme?

Formerly upgrade from F-10, now it's regular Rawhide.

> Before any changes to icon theme?

Did not changed the theme in any way.

Comment 3 Kevin Fenzi 2009-03-20 20:18:23 UTC
Try a fresh new user and see if they are all there with that user?

I am suspecting this is a 4.4->4.6 upgrade issue.
Something is not converting right.

Comment 4 Michal Nowak 2009-03-20 20:55:33 UTC
Mmm... nope. I've never had XFce before that Fedora Test Day.

But I can for sure, try it once more with "new user".

Comment 5 Michal Nowak 2009-03-23 08:14:20 UTC
Yes. It's still missing even with the "new user".

Comment 6 Kevin Fenzi 2009-03-24 19:24:00 UTC
Specifically which icons are missing?
You are running 'xfce4-settings-manager' ?

I can't seem to duplicate this here. All my items have icons in a new user. :(

Thanks for your testing!

Fedora. Tango too. None of the icons in default set is OK.

> You are running 'xfce4-settings-manager' ?

I do.

Missing icons

Comment 9 Christoph Wickert 2009-03-25 17:27:40 UTC
To fix this, we need to address bug 489402 first.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 11 development cycle.
Changing version to '11'.

Comment 11 Martin Mancuska 2009-06-12 21:05:50 UTC
maybe can help this command:
gtk-update-icon-cache -f -t /usr/share/icons/Fedora/
and then reload the icon theme.

Comment 12 Christoph Wickert 2009-06-12 21:35:06 UTC
Thanks for the suggestion Martin, but this won't help us, as /usr/share/icons/Fedora contains none of the missing icons. Also gtk-update-icon-cache should be run automatically by rpm after installation or upgrade of a package which drops icons in /usr/share/icons.

Anyway, this can be closed since I fixed bug 489402. I have verified all icons are there on the F-11 Xfce Livecd.
