Description of problem:
Lcd screen is dim and luminosity can't be increased

Steps to Reproduce:
1.just boot
Actual results:
Lcd screen is dim and applet says that it cannot get Lcd luminosity

Expected results:
just work as before

Additional info:
I note that sometimes also usb disk where fedora is running is stopped suddenly

Running kernel: 2.6.29-0.258.rc8.git2.fc11.i686.PAE

I also grabbed gnome-power-manager-2.26.0-1.fc11.i586 from koij but no improvement

USB disk is sento to sleep...more than stopped

I realized that using an old kernel, everything is o.k.

kernel-PAE-2.6.29-0.218.rc7.git2.fc11.i686 is making my box working fine!!!

2.6.29-2.fc11.i686.PAE is affected as well.....

Withh this kernel, screen dim is correct but it is quite difficult to use the applet for luminosity on the application bar!!!

anyway I can change brightness using Fn+right arrow on my Acer.
Slide is not working.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 11 development cycle.
Changing version to '11'.
