Description Satyabrata Maitra 2009-04-03 07:27:45 UTC
Description of problem:

When installing F11-Beta with ne_NP (Nepali) Locale, its capturing wrong Time zone and city. It should select "Asia/Kathmandu" by Default.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

anaconda-11.5.0.38

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Fresh F11-Beta Installation
2. Select "Nepali" in Language list
3. Proceed through Interface in graphical Installation
4. In Time Zone Page, observe the default Time zone showing.

Actual results:
Its showing America/New York time zone by default.

Expected results:
It should show Asia/Kathmandu, as the language selected was Nepali (ne_NP)

Additional info:

Comment 1 Parag Nemade 2009-04-03 08:02:44 UTC
Yes. there is mistake in adding Nepali language information in anaconda's lang-table.

Following should be
Nepali ne none ne_NP.UTF-8 us Asia/Katmandu
changed to
Nepali ne none ne_NP.UTF-8 us Asia/Kathmandu

Ah, good catch. This will be fixed in the next build of anaconda.
