Description of problem: Display preferences shows two new monitors when I plug in LCD TV, only one of which works. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.12.1-4.fc11.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Plug in LCD TV using HDMI cable 2. A new screen appears in display preferences but when I click on it a third appears. 3. Set dual screen using one of the new screens that have appeared Actual results: Either successful dual screen or a blank second screen, depending which of the two new screens I activate. Expected results: Only one extra screen to appear in display prefs and for it to always work. Additional info: Looks like the driver is finding both an HDMI and a DVI screen, although I have only plugged in an HDMI cable, and the laptop has no DVI port.
